Is the free tier actually usable, or is it a trial?

Genuinely usable โ€” forever. Five habits is enough for most people who are starting out. We don't time-bomb the free tier or hide the core experience behind a paywall. Premium adds depth for users who outgrow the basics.

Why no notifications by default?

Because most habit apps train you to respond to the app, not your life. Nimea sends a notification only when you set a reminder yourself. We don't nag, we don't guilt-trip, and we never message you to "win you back."

What data do you collect?

The bare minimum: your email, the habits you create, completion logs, mood and journal entries, and crash diagnostics. We never sell data, never use it to train AI you didn't opt into, never share it with advertisers.

How is the AI used?

Optionally, in three places: AI habit suggestions when searching the library, an AI follow-up question after a substantial journal entry, and AI coaching after a habit has been missed three days in a row. You can use the entire app without ever triggering an AI feature.

Does Focus Lock actually block apps on iOS?

iOS doesn't allow third-party apps to block other apps directly. We pair Focus Lock with an iOS Shortcut you set up once โ€” a 5-step process inside the app. After that, opening a locked app on your phone bounces you to Nimea. Five seconds of friction reduces social media use ~67%.
