Mental health support should be accessible to everyone — in their own words, their own language, their own culture. Nimea exists in 41 languages because the people who need help most shouldn't have to search for it in a language that isn't theirs.
We started with AI translations. They work, but they're not warm. Native speakers bring the heart. If your language matters to you, help us get the words right.

Nimea's strings start machine-translated into the target language. Functional but imperfect — a starting point, not a finish line.
Native speakers fix errors, improve tone, and adapt cultural nuances. They use a spreadsheet, Crowdin, or GitHub — whatever they're comfortable with.
Multiple reviewers compare notes. Mental health terminology gets extra attention — a glossary keeps the language consistent.
A native speaker with linguistic or cultural expertise gives final approval. The badge updates from "AI-generated" to "Native speaker approved."
